The Outlaw is a gem in the middle of the gem that is Ouray! We loved this spot. The decor has a little bit of the Old West for just about anybody – even has John Wayne’s hat! The owners are great people and their welcoming attitude permeates the entire staff!

Yes, the Outlaw Restaurant is still available to the citizens and visitors of Ouray; and the Outlaw Restaurant still has the same sign hung in 1969. Those who return come back with happy memories of the past, while newcomers take away experiences they will fondly remember.The Outlaw building and lot are now owned by Paul and Alison Choate. They bought the restaurant in 2009 and the building a few years later in 2014
