Jimmy's Aspen

Aspen, Colorado

Jordan Curet/Aspen Daily News

Jimmy’s opened in Aspen in 1997 and is a local favorite, while also catering to the massive amount of visitors Aspen gets every year. It is classy, comfortable, upscale and yet somehow casual. The menu has something for everyone in every price range and frankly, you can’t go wrong with anything from the drinks to the food.

There is no pretentiousness here – everyone from the owner (Jimmy Yeager) to the wait staff to the skilled bartenders will make you feel right at home while providing top-notch hospitality! The place has an unmistakable energy that draws you in, keeps you there and makes you want to come back.

This is a perfect spot all year round with outdoor seating in the warmer months (or warmer Colorado winter days) and great seating in-doors no matter what the weather. The bartenders are skilled at custom cocktails and, if you love tequila, this is the place for you. Jimmy’s offers more than 120 top-shelf brands of the south-of-the-border drink.
Don’t take our word for is, Jimmy’s won Santé Magazine’s Spirits hospitality restaurant of the year award in 2004 where their list was rated the finest in the country, in 2012 Jimmy’s was recognized as one of the Top 50 Bars in the nation by Food & Wine magazine and in 2017 it will be featured on a new Travel Channel show titled “Best Bars” hosted by Jack Maxwell.
